Welcome to HCM, I have gone through you query and understood your concerns, once of the common contraceptive side effects is to produce an irregular menstrual flow, taking those you can start bleeding, increases the spotting or even experience amenorrhea, I think your doctor may also be able to tell you about ways to treat the polyps in the permanent way and discuss the potential benefits of contraceptive against the risk of the worsening symptoms, your spotting symptoms is due to the organic cause( polyps) instead an hormonal imbalance
Please kindly rate if my advise has been helpful
Wishing you a good health
