What Causes Prolonged Weakness In Legs And Shortness Of Breath?

I have had weakness in my legs and shortness of breath for weeks. I just got the results of a blood test. The hemoglobin was 10.1 which I know is low but I don t think low enough to cause my symptoms. But the AST went from 26 to 37. What does that mean?

Hello sir, Thank you for asking us doubts. AST is slightly high (10 to 34 international units per liter).This value ranges may vary slightly among different laboratories. your haemoglobin level also less which should be more than 13-14. your symptoms says as you have less haemoglobin and breathlessness (short of breath) ,it may be just anaemia or may be related to heart. KIndly get it done other investigations like ECG,echocardiogram and get back to us. Dont exert yourself .Take care.
