I have developed a hardened vein, on the left side of my penis. It extends down to the end of the shaft just below the head. It is sore. It is bulged out somewhat there, and sore. I was wanting to find out, if it was something i needed to check out further, or possibly just stress from a rough session I had with my lady friend.
Such symptoms occur when the penis is injured during prolonged vigorous rough sex. Get clinically examined by Urologist, get physically examined and evaluated for penile vein thrombosis. It occurs in a segment on the dorsum of the penis. It is confirmed by penile Doppler ultrasonography.
It is a self-limiting disease that resolves by itself in 8-10 weeks. During this time stay away from any type of sexual activity. Apply heparin cream on the area affected to help disperse the thrombosis. You can take acetaminophen, one stat after food to get relieve from soreness and discomfort for 3-5 days twice daily. The treating Urologist may prescribe aspirin if required. Penile vein thrombosis is benign condition.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
