What Causes Prominent Vein Under The Penis Post A Surgery For Buried Penis?
A year ago I had surgery for balanitis/buried penis. After the surgery I had a problem in that there was a circle or band they was to tight in my pubis that wouldn t let my penis come out. I had a repair four months later where they sewed the band a different direction and separated my scrotum some at the base of my penis. This still did not help. I can t have sex. I have to sit to urinate because of it being buried and it sprays everywhere. It is constantly sore. Also when the doctor did the surgery he did something with the vein and now it protrudes under the head of my penis like a small clitoros. Please help.
You need to consult your surgeon as soon as possible because the swelling in this vein post surgical might be because of infection accommodating or some lymph may be collecting because of gravity.
Plus, if your problem of having a sex life and urination is not solved, you may need to undergo another surgery, might be.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Wishing you a speedy recovery.
Regards,
Dr. Saddiq Ulabidin, General & Family Physician
