What Causes Protruded Lump On The Nose With Itchy Skin?
Hi I was 21 yrs old when I first broke the smallest part of bone on my nose. The tip. Anyhow I didn t realize I had broken til 3 weeks later and noticed a slight lump on the right side of my nose. The doctors said that it would be cosmetic surgery to fix it since the bone had already healed. Fast forward 21 yrs later to today.. My daughter approx 2 month ago had accidentally hit me on the nose in a throws of a temper tantrum and I felt a crunch when it happened. My nose didn t bleed and it didn t swell. But now I have noticed that the right side of my nose the lump has protruded out more and I have had really bad itchy skin in the area of the lump and my right eye has been really itchy. I thought it was allergies at first but now I m not so sure anymore. My nose has been stuffy but I attributed that to allergies.. Should I get this checked out by my GP.
I understand your query and I would like to tell you that itching over nose indicated that there is some allergic problem but at the same time you are having history of broken bone on right side of nose along with itching and swelling on right eye, it may be due to obstruction of nasolacrimal system by the fractured bone of right nose.

What Causes Protruded Lump On The Nose With Itchy Skin?
Hi Welcome in H.C.M. I understand your query and I would like to tell you that itching over nose indicated that there is some allergic problem but at the same time you are having history of broken bone on right side of nose along with itching and swelling on right eye, it may be due to obstruction of nasolacrimal system by the fractured bone of right nose. All above may be cleared by doing- 1- C.T.Scan of nose and para nasal sinuses. 2- Examination of watery discharge of nose to rule out allergy and C.S.F.Rhinorrhea. your stuffy nose may be because of allergy or inflammatory swelling of trauma. So please consult your ENT doctor and follow the treatment advised. Probably your query is answered. Thanks for consulting H.C.M.
