What Causes Protruding Rib Cage?

I have notice on the picture that my daughter s rib looks protruded. It really bothers me. Nurse practitioner looked at her in the morning and said that is nothing to worry, however advices an x-Ray, if is bothers me. I would like to share that picture with you if possible, to get an opinion. Thanks!

Incomplete data like your daughter's age, any symptoms associated with protruding rib cage?
Uploaded picture not found!!!

Apparently she is having chest wall anomaly referred to as "piegon shaped chest". This could be due to deficiency of Vitamin D or rickets.

If your daughter is asymptomatic than no treatment is required.
Get the chest x rays done and consult a pediatrician for proper clinical examination may be certain lab tests are required to rule out other conditions.
