What Causes Protruding Vein In Left Underarm?

Good afternoon , my left armpit has a vein protruding out for 5 days now. I didn t think much of it at first and I thought it was a pimple there whenever I put my deodorant. However, just yesterday I decided to look and saw the swollen vein when I stretched up my arm...one line! I had a slight fever and a bad sore throat around 28-30th of may and I took Tylenol and sprayed chloraseptic max for my throat and saw only my family doc on the 2nd of Jun. He prescribed cycin and I carried on taking Tylenol. I recovered after a few days...it is slightly uncomfortable whenever I apply my deodorant and I was wondering if i should be duly worried and would it subside?

I really appreciate your concern, such swelling is not due to vein but this could be lymph node swelling and it could be due to infection if you have completed the course of antibiotic then no need to worry about it but course of antibiotic need to be completed for one week or more hope this information helps, take care and have nice day.
