What Causes Protruding Veins In The Right Knee And Ankle While Having Foot Pain?

I started havng foot pain two days ago...thought it was gout...had it once two years ago...Have been staying away from foods that make it flare up.Pain has hradually gotten better but now, veins from right knee ro my ankle are enlarged...swolen...have pretty much be n off of leg and kept it elebated. ???

As far as your lifestyle changes you must avoid long periods of standing or sitting and elevate your legs while sitting/lying down. Maintain a healthy weight and avoid wearing tight clothes, especially around the waist. You should jog/walk/swim or bike regularly.
