What Causes Psoriasis After Mirena Coil Insertion?

I started to develop psoriasis after having the mirena coil inserted, I have spoken to my GP, and they have categorically said it wouldn't be the coil causing it, however it seems a little too coincidental given I have never had any skin problems before, is my GP wrong?

I understand that you have developed psoriasis after getting an intra uterine device inserted.

There is no relation between psoriasis and intrauterine device.

It may be co-incidental.
