What Causes Puffiness In The Lower Eyelids Making The Skin Irritated And Sensitive?

~What causes puffy lower eyelids? One eye has been different from the other for a almost a month now, the swelling has decreased, but is still noticeable, and the skin feels particularly sensitive and irritated close to the eyelashes (top of the bottom eyelid)?
Thank you.

Hello
It seems from the history that you are having puffiness in the lower eyelids with irritation of the skin of the eyelid close to the eyelashes.
This can be because of chronic inflammation of the eyelid margins and is called as blepharitis.
The treatment of the condition is by lid hygiene and use of antibiotic eye ointments.
Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for examination afor confirmation of diagnosis and treatment accordingly.

Thank you
