What Causes Puffy Bumps On Face After A Root Canal Procedure?

I made a weird face with my chin and immediately afterwards my chin started feeling warm and small bumps appeared on my chin. I ignored it and was fine. A few hours later the bumps started spreading and my whole face is warm and starting to puff up. I don't know if this helps but I had a small fever a couple days ago and my throat is still sore. I also recently had a root canal done on my tooth.

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain the symptoms of spreading of bumps over the chin and face followed by warmness and puffiness seems to be due to allergic reaction to any food or medication while any face cosmetic, soap etc can also be a cause..
It does not seems to be related to Root Canal Treatment ..
I would suggest you to as of now take anti allergics like Levocetrizine and also apply Calamine lotion over the face..
You can also do cool compresses or wash your face with cool water to reduce inflammation and puffiness..
In case if still there is no improvement consult an Allergist and get evaluated and he can do allergic tests like Prick test, Patch test, Food challenge test and also a complete blood picture to rule out the cause and treat accordingly..
