What Causes Pulled Hamstring Muscle In A Person With Kidney Stones?

having a bout with a kidney stone. have not passed it but not in pain. today, while guzzling water, tried to play golf and pulled a hamstring on third drive. Is the hamstring in some way related to the kidney stone? Pain in back stopped four days ago but I confess to being tense in the event it resumes without warning

Hello and welcome to HCM,
Kidney stone in no way related to pulling of hamstrings in the thigh.
Pulling of hamstrings is a musculoskeletal problem and it is not associated with kidney stone.
The kidney stone has to be managed by conservative or surgical measures.
Pulled hamstrings can occur due to trauma or musculoskeletal injury.
You need to consult an orthopedician for clinical assessment and management.
Physiotherapy can hep to relieve the pain and discomfort associated with the pulled hamstrings.

Thanks and take care

Hi,
From history it seems that there might be having two possibilities of your pain,
1, there might be having real hamstring sprain during golf game,
2, due to heavy jolting movements while playing, kidney stones might have moved in the kidneys or might enter into ureter giving severe pain on back.
Take Diclophenac with paracetamol medicine.
This will work for pain due to both condition.
Consult your doctor and confirm the cause.
Ok and take care.
