What Causes Pulling Sensation On The Right Foot?

On the top of my right foot it feels like I pulled a tendon, no pain, functions fine, just a pulling sensation. It s worse if I soak it in warm water, feels like its pulling tighter, like its wrapped to tight in an Ace bandage. I thought I broke it but there is no pain. It s been like this for a couple of weeks. Time to make a Dr. appointment?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Usual ligament sprain or strain would put pain over the concerned part of the foot, so mere pulling sensation can be part of neurologic dysfunction or else. It is better to get evaluated with a consultant physician for primary look into the matter and give you necessary guidelines. Till that time, continue heating pad application and avoid tight shoes or walking barefoot.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
