Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I can t sleep, as I have a pulsating ache in the left side of my back. Sstarted this morning across my back and thought it was because I spent a couple of hours sitting at the computer. Gradually got worse around 4pm this afternoon. Went to bed at 10pm and couldn t sleep. Pulsating pain made me very restless. Got up at 1.30am and it s now 4.45am. Took some panadol and also one Mobic 15mg. Happened about 2 and a half years ago. Went to ED and they gave me Tramadol and Mobic 15mg. Tramadol - took only 1 and suffered nausea. Took Mobic for a day or so and pain went. Pain is in the fatty area left side, above the waiste. Sorry if this is a bit long winded. Thankyou.
I think that this pulsating ache in the side of back can be related to the long standing position you were having while working on computer for hours. Also stress and fatigue may have contributed to it.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka
