What Causes Pulsating And Twitching Sensation Around The Chin And On Face?

About 3 weeks ago I felt pulsating or twitching under my mouth near chin area on the left side of my face for a couple of days on and off. It stopped until now in the middle of the night my left cheek and chin started pulsating and twitching. What is causing this? I have to admit when it first happened I was stressing about things but I was fine and haven t been stressed lately so what would trigger it tonight because it came out of nowhere Thank you

As per your complain twitching under mouth near chin can occur due to causes that can also commonly cause such symptoms like side effects of medication, Vitamin B12 and calcium deficiency, potassium deficiency, traumatic injury or inflammation of facial nerve that supplies muscles of face,anxiety and panic attacks, nerve inflammation and infection caused by viruses etc..
I would suggest you to first of all consult your treating Physician and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation can help in diagnosis..

You will be advised to get investigations done like MRI, CT Scan, Nerve conduction studies etc..
You can be advised to take multivitamins along with calcium and potassium supplements..
You can do warm compresses over the lips.
You can also do breathing exercises along with meditation to keep stress minimal..
