What Causes Pulsating Noise In Right Ear?

How do I get rid of pulsating noise in rt ear n sometimes both; also swishing in head. Have been suffering from vertigo 2-3 x a day. Went to ER n given meclizine 25 mg but still have recurring attacks. Affects my walking n speech is slower. Get headaches mainly in back of head. Had ct scan done n it all seems to b ok. What can I do to get rid of this for once n for all???!!!

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have pulsating noise in right ear. Well there can be many reasons for pulsating sensation in ear like ear infection , increase in blood pressure and eustachian tube disorder. Well in your case it seems that there is localized increase in blood pressure due to which you are experiencing pulsating sensation. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist for proper examination and treatment. Doctor may prescribe drug like eperisone , muscle relaxant and sedatives. Discuss the localized increase in blood pressure with doctor due to dysfunction of some small vessel. For now take proper rest and drink green tea thrice a day .
