What Causes Pulsating Sensation In Right Ear?

i m experiencing a pulsating in my right ear - i have for a few months now - went to the doctor who prescribed amoxicilan for a week - i ve taken it, but there s been no change. another doctor thought it was high blood pressure, but after checking it, it was normal...can you help?

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have pulsing sensation in right ear . Well there can be many reasons for pulsating sensation in ear like ear infection , increase in blood pressure and eustachian tube disorder . But in your case it seems to me that there is localized increase in blood pressure due to which you are experiencing pulsating sensation . I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist again for proper diagnosis and treatment . Discuss the localized increase in blood pressure with doctor due to dysfunction of some small vessel . Doctor may prescribe drug like eperisone , muscle relaxant and sedatives . For now take proper rest and drink green tea thrice a day .
