What Causes Pulsating Sensation In The Head?

I have a pain less pulsating sensation that occurs several times a day usually in the evening when I m watching tv, but not always. I had an acoustic neuroma large removed, but it started to grow back. I had 6 weeks of radiation treatment. Last MRI in June showed the tumour is stable. I m. Nervous. I also had a vp shunt that the neurosurgeon put in a week after the AN was removed what do you think. I m getting an MRI dec 20th and get the results jan 9th
