What Causes Pulsation In Head While Lying On Back?

When I lie on my back my pulse pounds at the back of my head, where my neck meets the base of the skull. Very hard to sleep because it feels like it makes my whole head shake.Have never had high BP. Used auto BP machine just to check, and average of my BP tests was 115/80.
