What Causes Pulsations In Left Ear And Nose Bleed In Left Nostril?
I have been feeling my pulse in my left ear which has been keeping me awake at night times, also every so often I have a nose bleed in the left nostril with pressure around my ears and forehead. Can you give me any advice as the pumping sound in my ear is driving my crazy. Thank you! Maria

Hi,
As per your complain pulsation feeling in the ear or pumping sound along with nose bleeding and feeling of pressure in the eyes and nostrils can be related to elevated blood pressure levels leading to Pulsatile Tinnitus in the ear and also nasal bleeding.
Tinnitus can also be due to causes like ear infection, perforated eardrum, excess ear wax accumulation, Eustachian tube dysfunction, Meniere's disease, TMJ disorders, Acoustic Neuroma etc. You should consult an ENT Expert and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like blood pressure monitoring, audiometry, x-rays, MRI Scan etc can help in diagnosis and treatment can be done accordingly.
In case if ringing does not resolve then you can be advised medicines like Tricyclic Anti-depressant like Amitryptiline, anti anxiety medication like Alprazolam, as well as Multivitamin supplements can be advised. White noise devices can be advised. You can also be advised Neuromodulation.
