What Causes Pulse Rate To Increase Upto 120 When On Asthma/BP Medication?

I am coming up for 83 in November of this year, but I am still able to play competitive Spring and Fall Soccer. However, just recently, my pulse rate, which is normally between 55 to 68, occasionally spikes to 120 or so, while my BP remains below 124 / 84 or so at rest? I do have weekly shots for allergies and some mild form of asthma (which remains relatively mild and goes away when the adrenalin flows). I notice that using allergist recommended Sybercort 150 / 4.5 dual-puffs morning and night, as well as my rescue inhaler might exacerbate this pulse-rate rise, What does this indicate and what are the curative options?

Thanks for posting your question on HCM1
I appreciate your concern for the high pulse rate.
The medication used to treat high BP is not mentioned.

Symbicort contains two drug components - Budesonide and Formoterol. Budesonide is a steroid that reduces inflammation in the body.
Formoterol is a bronchodilator that relaxes muscles in the airways to improve breathing.

Formoterol is a long acting bronchodilator known to cause high pulse rate (tachycardia), tremors, & increase in BP.
So, apparently it is because of the use of Formoterol your pulse rate is increasing.

Kindly consult your doctor for the alternate medicine like Ipratropium bromide or short acting Salbutamol.
Best regards!
