What Causes Pulsing Sensation In The Left Ear?

It sounds if if I can hear my heart beat in my left ear. My Doctor said he hears a whooshing noise in my cariotod artery. I had a sonogram a year and a half ago and was told there was no blockage. I also have a constant ringing in my ears. Should I be concerned enough to call my doctor?

tinnitus has various causes and to know the exact cause for it it is necessary to do a detailed ent examination and some tests.
from your history it seems it can be of some vascular origin.
