What Causes Pulsing Sensation In The Spleen Area?

my daughter have been having problems on the left side where the spleen is at, Dr.'s really don't know whats going on with her. Tonight she said that it feels like it have's this pulse like to the spleen area but it's not really painful. The question is would this give her Dr. more of a hint of what's going on with her and should we be concerned about it pulsing?

Hi and thanks for the query,
The spleen is a vascular tissue, with one of the functions being temporal storage of blood. It is not rare to have such a sensation , but the origin not really from the spleen. Pulsation in the abdomen usually arise due to dilated aortas. A proper clinical review is required to exclude excessive dilatation that could lead to rupture. see your doctor and get abdominal ultrasound done. Kind regards
