What Causes Pulsing Sensations In The Right Groin Area?

I am experiencing a vibrating, pulsing sensation in my right groin area. Last about a second or two then quits for a second or two. Started a couple of days ago. 1st episode lasted an hour or so. Started again today and has lasted over an hour and continues as I write this. I am a 63 year old male in fairly good health. I have a history of back problems. There are no other symptoms associated with the vibrating sensation, no pain or swelling, etc. R.S.
