What Causes Purple Blood Clots On The Upper Thigh?

My upper thigh is getting what looks like purple blood clots, but someone else said they re stretch marks. They look like tiny thin purple veins and some are a lot thicker and red. They re appearing at a rapid rate, and a lot more show up any time I work out. The general area Of where they are feels sore and I m not sure what s going on
