What Causes Purple Bruise On Pelvic Area And Abdominal Cramping During Pregnancy?

I m 35 and 6 weeks pregnant with my 3rd child. I ve been having several days of menstraul type cramping no bleeding. The cramping is mild an I already feel the twinge of ligament pains. Today I noticed a probably 1.5 inch deep purple linear bruise on my right pelvic area. There was no trauma that I remember. Could this be a sign of ectopic or miscarriage? I feel fine otherwise and the area isn t tender. It s just weird!!

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, if it is not the bleeding per vagina then this is nothing to worry, still you can not take the clinical symptoms as granted in either way and to just clear the doubt better get done the ultrasonography or at least clinical examination, else this may not be ectopic pregnancy or miscarriage, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
