2 days ago a bluish/ purple bruise appeared on my top lip. It subsided a little on Sunday but is quite noticeable again today. I have no idea what has caused it. I have never had anything like it in my life before. I do have other health problems, asthma, urticaria, irritable bowel, and vertigo, but my doctor also recently done an h I v test on me as he noticed my white blood cell count has always been lower than average, but was even lower still when I last had blood taken.the test was negative. I don t think any my medication has caused it as have been on it for quite some time now . Do you have any idea why this has happened?
hi..welcome heath care magic.i read ur case thouroughly and understands ur concern..ur hx suggests that u are having multiple co morbidities too. bluish discolation of lips can be due to lack of oxygenation of red blood cells, which can occur in asthmatic patients. so what u need to do is check ur oxygenation of blood. pulse oximetey is a non invasive technique to measure blood oxygen. ABGS can also be done. i would suggest u to consult ur pulmonologist for poor oxygenation of blood due to asthma. in case of any other query u r welcome any time on health care magic. wish u good luck.thanks.
