Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..
As per your complain it seems that due to falling there has been a traumatic injury to the cheek leading to rupture of the blood vessels along with trauma to the soft tissues and swelling is due to accumulation of inflammatory exudate and blood..
As the blood from ruptured blood vessels get accumulated in the soft tissues there is bruising and
hematoma formation..
Nothing to worry as you indicated that swelling has subsided and you are also not in
severe pain..
As far as bruising is concerned it can take a few day to a few weeks to resolve completely..
Therefore, I would suggest you to continue doing alternate warm and cool compresses over the cheek atleast 3 to 4 times a day..
You can apply
Heparin gel as it helps in faster fading of
bruise..
Take anti inflammatory painkiller like
Ibuprofen to reduce inflammation and pain.
In case if symptoms worsen consult a General Physician and get evaluated..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards.
