What Causes Purple Bump On The Little Finger?

I was dancing with my friend when I landed on my pinky finger pretty hard. There is a purple bump that feels like a bone in my middle phalnax and it hurts when I try to straighten it out or apply pressure. Is it swollen or something worse? I'm really worried.
