What Causes Purple Bump On Thigh?

I have a purple bump on my inner upper thigh that has been present for a little while. I ve seen it before, but I figured it was an ingrown hair, caused by my thighs rubbing together or something, and was able to pop it and forgot about it. I ve noticed it again recently, though. It isn t painful, but it seems a little concerning that it doesn t go away. What could it be? An abscess or something?

I really appreciate your concern, it may not be abscess but it could be some allergic condition and some time may be due to some allergic condition some time it comes around on its on and this is nothing to worry, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
