What Causes Purple Fluid Discharge From Ear?

Deep purple fluid/discharge from ear after inserting Q-tip. Never experienced this before and I use a Q-tip everyday. Also had bouts of dizziness for the past week. The purple discharge has occurred for 3 days straight. Is this something I should seek immediate medical attention for?

Hello,
Discharge from the ear suggest infection in the ear drum and there are chances of perforation in the ear drum.
YOu need to consult an ENT specialist and get examined and medicines like antibiotics for the ear discharge.Ear also need to be cleaned.
The most important part is you should avoid self cleaning of the ear and avoid water entering in the ears.
In doubt do reply
