What Causes Purple Spot In The Bottom Of Vision?

Hi. I see a round, purple spot in the bottom of my field of vision, left eye only. This started about two weeks ago and I especially notice it when I have had my eyes closed for a while and look at something light in color (like the ceiling). Then it fades away. I have a blurry spot in my right eye only, noticable when I read. That has been noticable for about 3 months, and sometimes clears up if I blink. I had Lasix surgery about 6 years ago, and have enjoyed not wearing bifocals. I am 61 years old and in good health.

AFTER IMAGES : this is what you are suffering from sir/madam. Its not a big deal to be worried nor does it compels you urgent eye check up but if its bothering you.too much or hindering your.day to day life you need to consult NEURO OPHTHALMOLOGIST in your city. Only he can manage your case in best possible.way because this so called AFTER IMAGES are due to neurological problem affecting eyes... So you need Neuro + Ophthal... This is speciality branch not available in all cities... So you need to enquire properly then consult...
