What Causes Pus Filled Lumps On Scalp, Ears, Armpits And Groin?
I have skin rash, that is spreding in all of my crevice areas. it is in my scalp, ears, eye lids, arm pits, groin area and legs and 1 patch on my right fore arm. the sores begin as a red sore tender spot and then in a couple of days form a white pus filled head. I had a blood wellness and STD work up and all results were negative except for High Lymphs . I cannot see a dermatologist until Thursday the 9th. Could you give me an idea of what might the cause be?
Generalized lumps (lymph nodes) spreading all over the body may be indicative of serious medical conditions like lupus, mononucleosis, virus infections, etc. Sometimes it may be due to serious medical conditions like HIV, persistent generalized lymphadenopathy, lymphoma, cancers, etc. You are suggested to get a complete medical check up dome. Get all required blood workouts, urinalysis, CBC, Imaging (X-Ray, CT / MRI) done to detect the causative factor causing you discomfort so that the treatment can be started at the earliest.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K., General & Family Physician
