What Causes Pus Formation In Toes When Suffering From Diabetes?
My dad has got sugar for past 37 yrs . Now his age s 62. for last two months he suffering from pus formation n his toe. Now we have operated and removed s toe . But still doctor is saying tat there s a chance of pus.wat to do now to stop it. so has to avoid removing his leg.
In order to prevent further pus formation and prevent further amputation, please keep the sugar levels well under control. Hba1c must be less than 7%. Always keep the foot dry. Dry it off immediately after it gets wet. Wear good chappals even at home. Avoid minor or major injuries to foot.
Take proper nutritious diet with high amounts of vitamin C and B complex. Please wear socks if it's too cold. Don't apply any tight bandages to the foot. Start insulin if oral medicines are unable to control sugar levels.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
