What Causes Pus In Stool?
Dear Doctor My Mom is getting loose motion from last one and half month. she is around 55 years old. This motion semi Liquid some time is solid and some time is semi liquid. She went to doctor and doctor told for stool test. In this report got a Pus in stool. Please tell me it is normal or dangerous. I am so much scared after knowing this. Because at the time of before motion she is getting pain and after that she pass out motion.Earlier she had a constipation but now is fine. But only getting this problem. She had already taken Homeopathic medicin and after that allopathic medicin,but its not recovered. Can you please suggest me what to do for Treatment .. and please tell me what food i will prefer for her..

I really appreciate your concern, if it is few pus cells being detected then it is nothing to worry, still clinical condition would be the matter of concern, and just 2 to 4 passing of stool may not need any treatment, if infection need to be ruled out then it is better to get done culture sensitivity test, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
