Welcome to HCM. There are many factors that can lead to swelling and accumulation of pus. The common causes are Diabetes and insect bites. Once skin and fats under the skin gets infected and forms pus, the most important treatment is to drain the pus surgically. Sometimes if the abcess is large or the infection is spreading and is chronic the doctor will give antibiotics. In case the abcess does not get better with antibiotics, the nest step is to do culture and sensitivity to find the drugs which will kill the germs.
I would recommend going to a surgeon and a culture and sensitivity from a good laboratory to remedy your problem.
Thankyou for giving us the opportunity to help you. Have a nice day.
