What Causes Radiating Pain From Upper Back To Breast Bone?

I have been having pain between my breastbone. It started with pain in my upper back then moved between my breastbone. Thought I had gallstones that was ruled out with an ultrasound. ER doctor said there was a spot on my pancreas. Told me to take Zantac 3 times a day! Should I be concerned?

hi dear

when I see such a case I always start with an ECG to check the heart.
after that gall stone or acute pancreatitis is an option.
even some muscular pain should be a reason.
but it am totally disagree with Zantac and there is no indication for that.
I find this answer helpful
