Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Radiating Pain In The Shoulder Upon Waking Up?
started with muscle pain in left shoulder, then moved to right shoulder, now seems like sciatica as it is in my left hip with lots of pain in the early morning which feels better during the day but recurs upon getting up in the a.m. this has been going on for over a month.
Your symptoms seem to be related to a pinched nerve in the shoulder. I recommend using anti-inflammatory medication such as Ibuprofen to relieve the pain. I also recommend physical therapy for relief.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
