Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Last night, daughter had one bump on the right side of her nose, under her eye. It looked like a mosquito bite. It disappeared about an hour later.Tonight, she has another similar bump on the left side of her nose, under her left eye - again it has almost disappeared - about an hour later. The bumps are not red, just raised skin, and do not itch. Not sure what they could be- any ideas?
Understanding your concern. As per your query your son have raised bumps under eyes . It could be due to infection of skin and hair follicles as they can also cause similar bumps. Allergic reaction due to cosmetic product or soap can also cause such symptoms .
I would suggest you to visit dermatologist once as clinical assessment of the bumps is necessary for diagnosis. Till then You can use topical mild steroid cream like hydrocortisone creams. You can take antihistamine orally. drink plenty of water to drink.
Wipe the area under eyes with wet tissues as well. Take diet rich in multivitamins. You can try with topical eye antibiotics as well and avoid all type of cosmetics around eye . Taking proper sleep will be helpful.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
