What Causes Raised Heart Beats Along With Headache?

I have been sitting down for about 3 and a half hours now. I suddenly felt my heat rate increase. I could feel it beating hard in the middle of my chest. It is accompanied by a headache that I ve had off and on for almost a month. I ve been worried that I might have high blood pressure caused by stress at work. Is this something I should be so concerned with that I should make an appointment with my physician?

Hi,

Feeling of rapid heart rate could be due to anxiety and it is the most common cause if no associated symptom of fatigue, breathing difficulty are there still it has to be ruled out for cardiac even and condition need to be tested for EKG, even it can be brought for clinical examination if the test is negative for cardiac disease then it is nothing to worry.
