What Causes Raised Rashes Behind The Ears And Back While On Lisinopril?
Hi, My daughter (13 yrs old) started Lisinopril in April of this year (Leukemia survivor w/left ventricular systolic dysfunction from the chemotherapy 2005-2006). She has a hive like rash that has started behind her ears and has no moved down the center of her back, under and around her neck and to her chest. It is not red or itchy, but raised. She does not feel or look swollen, should I be alarmed? Thank you, Dina Levy yyyy YYYY@YYYY

The symptoms seem to be related to an allergic reaction.I suggest you to stop the medication.I also suggest to use antihistamines daily and Calamine lotion for local relief.You should consult your doctor about an alternative medication.
