What Causes Random Bruises Around The Wrists?

I have recently started bruising around my wrists. These are dark, ugly bruises and I don t know where they come from. I am 72, in good health, and I do not take blood thinners other than a baby aspirin nightly. Is this indicative to any serious condition? Should I be worried?

Hello,
Thanks for trusting Healthcaremagic!
I have gone through your query and I can understand your concerns.
It is because your blood vessels become fragile with advancing age.
You have to do a coagulation profile to rule out bleeding disorders.
Have a diet rich in fruits and vegetables. You can take protein supplements to improve the general health of your blood vessels.
Wishing you good health.
Regards
Dr Shinas
