Hi I am a 19 year old female I have been having random chest pain for the past couple of days. The pain is not constant but in intervals of pressure starting from my diaphragm and moving up my chest. I have been using pepto bismol but it has not been helping. I do not want to jump to conclusions but also do not know if I should be concerned or not?
wellcome to hcm, most common cause of epigastric and retrosternal pain is gastroesophageal reflux disease but as you are taking pepto i hope that is proton pump inhibitor,if its so then you need to consider ecg to rule out heart origin and chest x ay to rule out the origin of lung.
