What Causes Random Shaking With Dizziness?

My friend was outside, 94 degree weather, warm under a shade and started shaking uncontrollably, got a little dizzy, said his back hurt, and went to his office and feel asleep. He says he is very sore today from the shaking. He did however start on a weight loss and start walking.

Hi, Welcome to Health care moragic forum.
As you describe, it appears to be the malaria fever. It may be repeated after 24, or 48 hours. It could also be the some other fever due to urinary tract infection, or some ting like that.If it is some other fever, it will continue the next day also.
If the shaking is with out fever, it may be some neurological problem like epilepsy. For diagnosis, he may need E.E.G.
I advise you to consult a physician for diagnosis and treatment .
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
