What Causes Random Sharp Pains In Middle Of Chest In A Child?

My son is 10 has been complaining of sharp pains in middle of his chest, happens random times,sleeping,playing at park,sitting on couch exc. it starts with sharp pain, the his heart beats real fast,breathes fast and short lasts usually five minutes or so. I took him to ER did tests e k g, ex Ray said nothing wrong of course by then he was fine when ambulance picked us up. My pediatrition said it was growing pains?? It just happened again ? I m concerned and feel like I need to push for more tests

I agree with the pediatrician that the symptoms seem to be related to groin pains. I suggest using Tylenol in case of pain. There is nothing to be worried.
