Hi so I seem to have to poop directly after eating. I get a cramp ffeeling and then have to go. I just feel like that s way to soon after I ve eaten that I have to go to the bathroom. I don t think it s a high metabolism bc I am not a skinny girl but could it be celiacs or something like that?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

If you are having bowel movements more than 3 times a day, this would be called diarrhea.

Chronic diarrhea is diarrhea lasting at least 4 weeks.

There are different possible causes such as: (1)infection
(2)food intolerance- you would need to consider a food diary to see if there are particular foods causing the problem
(3)side effect of medication
(4)inflammatory bowel disease- crohns disease, ulcerative colitis
(5)thyroid disease, diabetes
(6)lactose intolerance
(7)irritable bowel syndrome

If it continues, then you may need to consider seeing your doctor for an assessment.
This would include a history of all symptoms, examination and possibly investigations such as blood tests and a stool test.

Treatment would depend on the cause found.

I hope this helps
