Hi,I am Dr. Prabhakar Koregol (Cardiologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My heart has been hitting and beating really hard for the past 2 weeks. It does it at least 7-8 times a day. When it does this is does it fast and really hard and then afterwards I feel dizzy. Should this be a major concern? Weight is 225 height 5'10"
Hi, If you feel dizzy whenever you have your heart beating very fast, it is certainly something you must be concerned of. I would advice you to get an EKG, when you face such palpitations, urgently, and show it to the cardiologist. He will review it, and can guide you, whether he has some good or bad news for you. But i must say, even if there is any trouble of heart rhythm, do not worry, because its treatable, and currently available and cheap everywhere.
Regards
