What Causes Rapid Heart Rate Along With Sore Eyes And Nausea?
My son is feeling very unwell. He called me up to tell me that his head was pounding and felt his brain was touching the top of his head. His eyes are sore too. He feels weak and a little nauseous. I think it might be viral. When he goes to move the pounding in his head starts again. I have given him nurofen at 2100 and have been cooling him down as his temperature is high. Can you advise please?
If you tell what is the age of your son and how much he weighs? will be more helpful to give a better advice.
Anyway the symptoms mentioned here could be due to viral infection .
neurofen is ok and if symptoms persist you can repeat after 4 hours .
when your son is without fever after giving neurofen , then try to give some food in some quantities . if he can not or does not like to take solid meals , then you can give semi solid or liquids like soup , juice . milk etc .
keeping him empty stomach , fever and neurofen will increase the symptoms of nausea , and he may vomit also sometimes.
good hydration during high fever is also very important .
hope this may help you .
if symptoms persist then better to visit some qualified practitioner . Thank you
