What Causes Rapid Heart Rate And Blurring Of Vision After Smoking Marijuana?

Hi, I've been smoking marijuana maybe about 5 times a week for the last 5-6 months and nothing bad has happened, but the last time i smoked my heart started to race and my vision started fading and i blacked out. Also, the time before that my heart was racing, but it went away after a couple mins. I am wondering why this would happen now after all the other times I have smoked and does it have anything to do with me donating blood and blacking out from that a couple months ago? I am 17, I am 5' 6'' and I weigh about 112 pounds.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Marijuana can stimulate your nervous system by inducing the action of hormones like adrenaline and other neurotransmitters. It has got no relation with blood donation. Better to avoid marijuana as excessive use can cause psychiatric illnesses and neurological abnormalities.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
