Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi, my resting heart rate can vary from 75 to 100, but as soon as I move around, ie getting out of bed or going up the stairs, my heart rate goes to 125? I have this heart rate monitor to keep an eye on it and I got a massive shock? Why is it going that high purely from just getting up or walking around? Please help, I need some peace of mind
hello there you have not mentioned your age so its difficult to know where you are heading .. I assume the reason for your fast heart rate is PSVT.. you need to get a 24 hr ecg monitoring done to prove me otherwise.. other than this a resting ecg and an attempted treadmill can be done to simulate your tachycardia besides an echo
you need a full body check work up including hormone profile
I hope we can get to the bottom of it fast..
